Book project

I drew whatever came to the heart and whatever looked good in the head. These are my top ten that I did

Zombie Heroes vs. Villians

For the black and white agamograph I took some of my favorite cartoon characters and added a dead twist

Cultural/Traditional

I took a picture of my Christmas tree in the living room. I was informed that I am not Jewish, which is very sad because I want to be Jewish.

Initials in things

A and R. My initials that I found in a wooden well and an old radio clock thing.

Its a snowflake but I'm bad at art

Title says it all

Cluster Merde

For the palette knife painting I was going to do a solar system but I gave up on that and moved to this... thing. It's abstract.

Foreshortening

Foreshortening- portray or show (an object or view) as closer than it is or as having less depth or distance, as an effect of perspective or the angle of vision (dictionary.com).  For this assignment I took a picture of my legs from an angle that made them appear shorter than they really are.

Self portrait of the weird

For the unusual self portrait I wanted to show off sides of my personality. So I put on my Wednesday Addams dress and a lampshade and tried to be funny and pretty.

Man-made texture

It's a picture I took of a blanket.

Landscape

Fall

For the four seasons project we have to take a picture of the same thing in a different season. I believe I took mine a bit too early as there is not much difference. I will post this for now, but if I get a better shot then I shall upload it.

Green with pottery

Something green was the challenge, so I looked around my house and found various green pots. Plastic and clay; both with a mission of holding. The plastic contains plants, and the clay holds random cool stuff.

Abstract in my Nature

For this project I didn't realize I took several pictures. They all seemed pretty awesome so I used the best ones. I didn't alter any of these pictures, I just took them and uploaded them. To me abstract doesn't have to be well planned out, it just has to make the viewer question their life morals. I think these pictures                                                               really capture that idea.

House or zoo?

Brody

June

Ashess

Astrid

Kitty Wampus
Cleo
Kira

For the pet project I wanted to take a picture of most, if not all, of my animals. I got almost all of them, the only one missing is Rue, a small cat. My pets did not like me taking their pictures; some of them scratched me in protest. I put most of the pics through Photoshop to crop and make black and white; I didn't for Astrid because I got lazy. My cats are all outdoor cats that I bring in the garage at night for safety and warmth. Most had been strays at one point in their life. Astrid had her brothers and sisters all parish in a lawnmower; Kira came with her sister, but her sister has not been seen for a year; Kitty Wampus and Rue just appeared one day, both seemed very domesticated; Cleo has never been a stray.  June and Ashess were adopted for my sister. Brody was given to my father by a friend.

Nightmare before texture

One of my favorite movies is The Nightmare Before Christmas, so I thought it would be a great painting to do for the textured canvas. I had to dig the canvas out of my hiding spot in the basement and combined black  paint and plaster. I dipped my hands in the plaster and made the hill sort of "line-ish" and made the rest of the canvas's texture fairly flat. I then painted the hill a dark blue, and made some parts lighter than others. I painted on the moon and then Jack singing his lament.

Color wheel

For the color wheel project I drew a girl with hair that looked like something I would have. I then took all the appropriate colors and mixed others together. The color wheel is one of the most useful tools for artists.

Opposites attract

Crayon Splatter artwork is one of the most fun project to do. You start of by picking what you'll do and making a stencil for it. Then you pick out all the crayon colors you'll need; in my case I needed different shades of blue, orange, yellow, and grey. I traced the stencil onto a clean sheet of paper and then splattered the clean sheet with crayon. After that i glued the stencil to the splattered paper.

Skating into the sun

This is my object in motion drawing. I drew this based on a picture of Jack I took where he was jumping. I started off with a coordinate plane and sketched Jack's body in a "gnarly" position, then I added a skateboard because it didn't quite look right. I then shaded it all in, because I'm very lazy and I didn't want to give it color.
